Pijush Hazarika Demands Apology from Congress MLA Abul Kalam for Insulting Journalist During Live Show

Assam BJP Minister Pijush Hazarika condemned Congress MLA Abul Kalam Rasheed Alam for insulting senior journalist Rajdeep Bailung Baruah during a live talk show. Hazarika called the act shameful and demanded an apology. The incident occurred during a heated political discussion where Alam allegedly used abusive language and behaved rudely. The journalist, who is also the channel’s senior editor, removed Alam mid-show and warned that Congress leaders would be banned from future programs unless a public apology is issued. Assam Congress and MLA Alam have yet to respond. Alam is a two-time MLA from Goalpara East.
