Three British Tourists Arrive in Bokakhat on 90s-Style Modified E-Rickshaw to Explore Northeast India

Three young British tourists, part of UK-based group The Adventurists, arrived in Bokakhat, Assam, during their eco-friendly expedition across India in a creatively modified 1990s electric rickshaw. This marks their first visit to Northeast India. The rickshaw was redesigned by team member Tom to run on electric power. The group praised Assam’s natural beauty and pledged to promote its tourism in the UK. Their journey also aims to raise awareness about sustainable electric mobility. Before heading to Dibrugarh, they stopped at a local cycle shop in Bokakhat for minor repairs to their unique vehicle.
