PM Modi Applauds Meghalaya as Model for a Resilient and Self-Reliant India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Meghalaya as a "blueprint for a resilient and self-reliant India," responding to Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s post highlighting the state's progress. Sitharaman, after her four-day visit to Meghalaya, noted its transformation driven by tourism, youth empowerment, women-led SHGs, and central initiatives like PM Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojana and Vibrant Village Programme.
