Justice Ashutosh Kumar Sworn In as Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court

Justice Ashutosh Kumar was sworn in as the Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court on Monday. The oath of office was administered by Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya during a ceremony held in Guwahati. Justice Kumar has previously served as a judge in both the Patna High Court and the Delhi High Court. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and other dignitaries attended the swearing-in ceremony. CM Sarma later extended his best wishes to Justice Kumar on social media platform X, expressing hope for a successful tenure as the Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court.
