Teachers Guide Over 2,000 Assam Students Through Innovative Mentorship Programme

Over 2,000 students in Assam’s Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) have received academic and emotional support through the ‘Each One Reach One’ mentorship programme, launched by the Guwahati KVS regional office. In its first year, 1,450 teachers mentored 2,260 students, addressing challenges like exam anxiety, subject difficulties, and emotional stress. Class 10 and 12 students achieved 99.5% and 98.6% pass rates respectively. The programme, inspired by NEP 2020, has helped students improve academically and emotionally, with notable success stories across KVs. It is now being replicated in other regions, aiming to create supportive learning environments for struggling students.
