FIFA 2026 World Cup Draw to Take Place in Las Vegas This December

Las Vegas is expected to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup draw on Friday, December 5, though FIFA has yet to confirm it officially. This marks the first time the World Cup will be hosted across three countries—USA, Canada, and Mexico—with 48 teams participating instead of the usual 32. Despite not being a match venue, Vegas may host the draw at the modern Sphere arena. The final will be held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 19, 2026. Twelve groups will be drawn, and Mexico, Canada, and the USA have been pre-assigned to Groups A, B, and D respectively.
