The Bihar government also increased pensions for accredited journalists, limited 35% job reservation for women to state residents, and introduced 125 units of free electricity for domestic consumers. Additionally, the state approved the formation of a Sanitation Workers Commission to safeguard their rights, welfare, and access to government schemes.
