Tripura to Launch Superspeciality Courses at AGMC, Signs MoU with AIIMS for Hospital Management

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha announced plans to introduce superspeciality courses at Agartala Government Medical College (AGMC) to boost advanced medical education. At AGMC’s 21st foundation day, he also revealed an upcoming MoU with AIIMS, Delhi, to train doctors in hospital management. AIIMS experts had recently reviewed AGMC and GBP Hospital services. Saha highlighted successful kidney transplants and plans to launch liver and heart transplant facilities. Additionally, a 100-bed modern eye hospital will be built at Khejurbagan, with funding allocated in the current budget. Agartala Government Dental College will soon offer postgraduate dentistry courses.
