Assam Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu inaugurated a newly constructed ₹1-crore administrative building at Hatidhura College in Dhubri district’s Golakganj constituency. Funded under the Higher Education Department’s infrastructure scheme, the building aims to enhance academic administration. Dr. Pegu emphasized the government’s commitment to improving rural education and highlighted the success of the “Nijut Moina” scheme in reducing dropout rates. The event saw participation from local leaders, faculty, and students. Established in 1990, Hatidhura College serves over 1,100 Arts students, and the new facility is expected to boost operational efficiency and educational growth in the region.
