A medical air ambulance crashed into a residential area near Nairobi, Kenya, killing at least six people and injuring two others. The Cessna Citation XLS, operated by Amref Flying Doctors, took off from Wilson Airport en route to Somaliland but crashed in Ruiru, Kiambu County. Four onboard, including the pilot, died, and two more were killed when the plane struck a house. Witnesses reported the plane was on fire mid-air. Rescue teams responded as locals mourned. Amref confirmed the accident and stated it is cooperating with authorities. The charity, based in Nairobi, has served as Flying Doctors of East Africa since 1957.
