Dr. Gayatri Gogoi of AMCH Wins 2025 Blackbuck Pioneer Researcher Award for Cancer Research

Medical Dialogues and the National Medical Forum honoured Dr. Gayatri Gogoi, Associate Professor at AMCH and Adjunct Researcher at ICMR-Regional Medical Research Centre, North East, with the Blackbuck Pioneer Researcher Award 2025 for her exceptional cancer research. The award was presented in Delhi during the Research Summit, attended by top medical leaders. Dr. Gogoi, a recipient of multiple national and international awards, has authored medical textbooks, 50+ publications, and led major research collaborations with IISc, AIIMS, IIT, and others. She also heads community cancer care initiatives. She was the sole awardee from North East India among eminent doctors from premier institutions.
