India and Singapore held the 3rd India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable (ISMR) in Delhi, finalising around ten agreements in areas such as connectivity, digitalisation, healthcare, skills development, and advanced technology, ahead of a possible visit by Singapore PM Lawrence Wong. Ministers from both sides discussed an undersea cable project to transmit solar energy and provide data connectivity. The talks reviewed cooperation under ISMR’s six pillars and identified new initiatives. India reaffirmed Singapore’s role in its “Act East” policy. Singaporean ministers also met President Droupadi Murmu, who noted the strong bilateral partnership despite global uncertainties. The ISMR was described as “productive” by both sides.
