New Lokayukta Team Sworn In at Raj Bhawan for Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh witnessed the swearing-in of its new Lokayukta team at Raj Bhawan, Itanagar, on Wednesday. Justice (Retd.) Prashant Kumar Deka assumed office as Chairman, while Sang Phuntsok took oath as Member, with Governor Lt Gen (Retd.) KT Parnaik administering the oath. The event was attended by Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein. Congratulating the appointees, Mein emphasized that the new leadership would ensure transparency, accountability, and justice in governance. The team’s formation is seen as a significant step toward strengthening the fight against corruption and reinforcing public trust in the state’s administration.
