Aaranyak, in collaboration with IUCN CAG, SHIPA, and Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary authorities, organised a conservation awareness programme in Morigaon under the theme “Conservation and Coexistence.” The event aimed to educate students and communities about biodiversity, climate change, and sustainable coexistence with wildlife. Activities included an outdoor trip where students observed flora, fauna, and rhinos, and an indoor session with drawing and quiz competitions. Sixty students, teachers, villagers, and guides participated. Resource persons included conservation experts, forest officials, and local guides. Organisers stressed the need to engage youth and communities to ensure the long-term protection of Pobitora’s fragile ecosystem.
