The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday searched Anil Ambani’s Mumbai residence in connection with an alleged ₹17,000-crore bank fraud case. Around 7–8 officials began raids at his Seawind, Cuffe Parade home at 7 am, with Ambani and his family present. The action is part of a larger probe into Reliance ADA Group companies. Earlier, on August 4, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) expanded its money-laundering investigation into the case, summoning Ambani and several top executives, including close aides Amitabh Jhunjhunwala and Sateesh Seth. At least six summons have been issued, with executives already under ED scrutiny.
