On August 25, the Indian Army held an outreach programme in Along, West Siang, Arunachal Pradesh, to motivate youth aspiring to join the Armed Forces under the Agnipath scheme. The session included an interactive lecture to instill discipline, confidence, and national service spirit, followed by a help desk for documentation and recruitment guidance. Officials stressed that such efforts inspire youth to pursue military careers while preparing effectively. The Agnipath scheme aims to lower the forces’ average age, create a tech-savvy profile, and benefit society by producing disciplined, skilled individuals with values of teamwork, patriotism, resilience, and service to the nation.
