India has banned 16 Pakistan-based YouTube channels for spreading communally sensitive content following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in 26 civilian deaths. The ban was implemented on the recommendation of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has intensified its investigation, with senior officials overseeing the probe and questioning eyewitnesses. Meanwhile, the Indian Army is on high alert, conducting search operations to neutralize the terrorists. The banned channels were accused of inciting communal tensions and spreading misinformation, undermining national security during this sensitive period.
