Delhi CM Launches Free Annual Health Checkups for Workers and Their Families

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that the government will provide free annual health check-ups for workers and their families. Additionally, a notification will be issued to designate 12 pm to 3 pm as mandatory rest hours for workers due to the intense heat. Gupta emphasized the government's responsibility for workers' health and welfare. The government has already increased the minimum wage and introduced schemes like Ayushman Bharat for health insurance and Atal canteen for food. Furthermore, 3,000 water coolers will be installed, and welfare boards for various worker groups will be set up.
