PM Modi Briefed by IAF and Navy Chiefs as Forces Gear Up for Response to Pahalgam Terror Attack

Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Tripathi also spoke with the PM regarding naval readiness in the Arabian Sea. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh assured a strong response, echoing Modi’s resolve for operational freedom to strike back. The April 29 meeting with top military leaders reinforced this stance. Meanwhile, Pakistan has placed its forces on high alert, reinforcing troops and air defences, while India has adjusted its deployments to counter potential retaliation.
