Northeast to Participate in Nationwide Defence Drill on May 7 Amid Rising Indo-Pak Tensions: Check the List

A nationwide civic defence mock drill will take place on May 7, involving Northeastern states amid rising Indo-Pak tensions following the Pahalgam terror attack. The drill will occur at 259 locations across three categories, with the Northeastern states participating in Categories II and III. The list of locations includes cities like Aalo, Itanagar, Guwahati, Imphal, Shillong, and Agartala. The drill will simulate multi-hazard scenarios, with air raid sirens sounding across the country.
