"Blackout in Jammu's Samba: 'Limited Number of Suspected Drones Being Targeted'"

The Indian Army reported that a small number of suspected drones are being engaged near Samba in Jammu and Kashmir, assuring there is no need to panic. A blackout has been imposed in the Samba sector. A similar blackout occurred in Akhnoor, as cross-border firing began in Kanachak, Pargwal, and Keri Battal areas. Authorities in Amritsar and Hoshiarpur, Punjab, also enforced blackouts. The Amritsar District Collector confirmed that the blackout was implemented as a precautionary measure following an alert. In Hoshiarpur, Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain stated that power supply was cut off in Mukerian and Dasuya subdivisions, as advised by the Army.
