Senior NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal took oath as a minister in the Mahayuti-led Maharashtra government at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai, in the presence of CM Devendra Fadnavis, Governor CP Radhakrishnan, and Deputy CMs Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar. Shinde praised Bhujbal’s experience, noting his political journey from Shiv Sena corporator to minister. BJP leader Chandrashekhar Bawankule welcomed Bhujbal's inclusion, calling him a strong OBC leader who will support the vision of "Viksit Maharashtra." Bhujbal, MLA from Yeola, previously served as Deputy CM (1999–2003) and held various key positions. His political career began with Shiv Sena in the 1960s.
