India and Germany Vow Joint Fight Against Terrorism in All Forms

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on assuming office and discussed regional and global issues. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to combating terrorism in all forms and agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in trade, defence, security, and technology. The talks align with India’s ongoing efforts to deepen ties with Europe, as Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar visits the Netherlands, Germany, and Denmark. Additionally, all-party delegations will visit various European countries to highlight Pakistan’s terror infrastructure, following India’s Operation Sindoor targeting terror camps in Pakistan and PoK. Jaishankar also appreciated the Netherlands' strong stance against terrorism.
