Nagaland’s Power & Parliamentary Affairs Minister, K.G. Kenye, inaugurated the 2.4 MW Duilumroi Hydroelectric Project in Poilwa Village, Peren District, on May 23, 2025. The project began in April 2021, was technically completed in December 2024, and cost ₹40.29 crore under the State Plan. The inauguration included speeches, technical presentations, and community participation, highlighting the project as a significant achievement in Nagaland’s infrastructure development.
