Operation Sindoor Aftermath: CDS Highlights Vigilance and Synergy in Strategic Review of Northern and Western Commands

• Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan visited the Indian Army’s Northern Command in Udhampur and Western Command in Chandimandir to review Operation Sindoor. He emphasized vigilance, jointness, and synergy to counter evolving threats. The Northern Command briefed on neutralizing terror networks and rehabilitating affected civilians, while the Western Command highlighted operational readiness and enhanced military capabilities. Chauhan praised the bravery and discipline of troops, commended operational success, and urged support for civilian rehabilitation. Operation Sindoor involved precision strikes on terror targets in Pakistan and PoK, with India responding firmly to subsequent Pakistani attacks, leading to a mutual ceasefire agreement.
