Innovation NE Week 2025 Kicks Off Highlighting Nagaland’s Digital and Entrepreneurial Advancement

The Innovation North East (NE) Week 2025 began with a focus on Nagaland’s strengths in innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship. S. Krishnan, MeitY Secretary, praised Nagaland’s progress in food processing, tourism, and services, highlighting the region’s digital economy potential and skilled youth. He stressed the importance of equipping Northeastern youth with digital skills for India’s future and noted MeitY’s inclusive digital empowerment programs. Key highlights included signing three MoUs between NIELIT Kohima and partners like Vignan TBI, SPJIMR Mumbai, and ACIC IIT (ISM) Foundation, aimed at boosting startups, innovation, and capacity building in the Northeast.
