The Vikshit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan, launched on May 29 in Tripura, has reached 1.1 lakh farmers within just seven days, nearing its target of 1.72 lakh. The campaign, running for 12 working days with 72 meetings daily, has received strong public and farmer participation. Officials noted praise from the central government for Tripura’s effective implementation. Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath, inaugurating the campaign in Gomati district, highlighted the revitalization of Krishi Vigyan Kendras and the introduction of mobile soil testing vans. He reaffirmed the government's commitment to empowering farmers through scientific methods to reduce costs and boost income.
