DRDO Expands Defence Manufacturing by Transferring Technology for 9 Systems

DRDO has transferred technologies of nine land systems and weapon platforms, including mounted artillery guns and CBRN reconnaissance vehicles, to defence PSUs and private companies for production. The Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (VRDE) in Maharashtra handed over licensing agreements to various firms. Technologies transferred include CBRN recce vehicles to Bharat Electronics, mounted gun systems to Bharat Forge, anti-terrorist vehicles to Metaltech Motor Bodies, riot control vehicles to Tata Advanced Systems, and decontamination systems to Dass Hitachi and Goma Engineering. Additionally, Arjun tank-related trailer, maintenance, and repair vehicle technologies were given to BEML and other companies.
