Tripura CM launches initiative to empower marginalized communities

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha launched multiple welfare initiatives at Tufania Lunga Tea Garden in Bamutiya to empower marginalized tea garden communities. Under the Chief Minister Tea Worker Welfare Scheme, 82 tea worker families received land ownership pattas, providing them security. The event featured awareness campaigns on drug-free living, health and legal aid camps, and a blood donation drive. Agricultural tools were distributed to enhance livelihoods. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, highlighting improved living conditions and pride in the support received. CM Saha’s involvement reflects the government’s commitment to the holistic development and welfare of tea garden workers in Tripura.
