Flight With 110 Indian Students Evacuated From Iran via Armenia Lands in Delhi

In a major relief, the first evacuation flight under ‘Operation Sindhu’ brought 110 Indian students from Iran to Delhi after tensions escalated due to the Israel-Iran conflict. These students had been moved from Tehran to Armenia by the Indian embassy. Families expressed gratitude to PM Modi and EAM Jaishankar, while urging the government to evacuate others still stranded. Students described terrifying scenes of missile strikes and bombings in Tehran. Some were injured during the strikes. Parents expressed relief and thanked the Indian government for ensuring the safety and proper accommodation of the students during the evacuation process.
