West Garo Hills Gets New School Building as Meghalaya CM Reaffirms ₹3,000 Cr Youth Development Plan

On June 18, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma inaugurated a new two-storey building of Dalu Government Higher Secondary School in West Garo Hills, under Mission Education Phase I. He highlighted the government’s focus on holistic youth development through education, sports, music, and entrepreneurship. Sangma noted that nearly ₹3,000 crore has been invested in key sectors via programs like CM Elevate and PRIME. He also inaugurated a PRIME Hub in Baghmara, which supports entrepreneurs, self-help groups, and farmers. These initiatives aim to boost economic activities, enhance infrastructure, and ensure sustainable livelihoods across the state.
