Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and NSA Ajit Doval are expected to visit China for the upcoming SCO meetings, marking their first high-level engagement since India’s Operation Sindoor. Singh will visit Qingdao (June 25–27), and Doval (June 24–26). The meetings, also attended by Pakistani officials, aim to prepare for the SCO summit in Tianjin. The visits occur amid efforts to mend India-China ties after 2020’s border tensions. Doval's prior December visit led to agreements on Kailash Mansarovar Yatra and other issues. Talks will focus on troop de-escalation, direct flights, visa easing, and river data-sharing, with caution due to ongoing border deployments.
