A hydrogen peroxide leak from a tanker at Andhra Paper Limited near Rajamahendravaram in Andhra Pradesh's East Godavari district triggered an emergency response on Thursday. Around 26 tonnes of the chemical leaked from a Gujarat-registered tanker. Firefighters from Rajamahendravaram and Kovvur, along with the mill's in-house team, quickly diluted the leak. No injuries or health issues were reported. Officials, including the RDO and factory inspector, reviewed the site. The incident is part of a troubling pattern of industrial accidents in the region, including a deadly blast at Sigachi Industries in Telangana on June 30 that killed 40 workers and injured 33 others.
