In Rajasthan’s Gurdai village, locals allege that after they questioned Cabinet Minister Joraram Kumawat over poor road conditions during a visit, their water and electricity connections were targeted in retaliation. On Sunday, officials allegedly arrived to cut services, claiming illegal connections. A villager, Meena, said he was targeted for presenting a memorandum and speaking up. He called the action discriminatory and political. The Congress called it “BJP’s dictatorship.” As support grew, officials left without disconnecting anything. Minister Kumawat claimed Congress interference, while the district collector deflected responsibility. Separately, MP Hanuman Beniwal highlighted unpaid dues of Energy Minister Heeralal Nagar.
