A 25-year-old tourist from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, died after his paraglider crashed during take-off at Indrunag near Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. The incident occurred Monday evening when the glider failed to gain altitude. Both the tourist, Satish Rajesh Bhai, and the pilot, Suraj, were injured. Satish later died at Tanda Medical College, while Suraj is under treatment. This is the second fatal crash at the site in six months. In January, 19-year-old Bhavsar Khushi also died during take-off. Authorities are probing safety violations, and a district-wide paragliding ban has been imposed in Kangra till September 15 due to monsoon risks.
