Under President’s Rule, the Manipur administration has launched a dedicated IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) portal to streamline relief services and aid coordination for displaced individuals. The platform, reviewed in a meeting led by Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, aims to enhance digital access, track aid distribution, and manage workflows. The IDP count has dropped from 62,000 to 57,000, with many returning home. Relief camps are expected to close by December 2025. Due to ongoing security issues in regions like Churachandpur and Moreh, pre-fabricated houses are being arranged. The government is also offering ₹1.3 lakh per affected family to rebuild destroyed homes.
