Google is gearing up for the launch of its next-generation smartphones, the Pixel 10 lineup, expected in August. While the tech giant has kept official details under wraps, leaks and rumours have revealed a lot—including pricing information, which suggests no major changes from the Pixel 9 series.
According to trusted tipster Roland Quandt of WinFuture, the Pixel 10 series in Europe will mirror last year’s prices, with no surprise discounts or price hikes. This includes all models in the lineup—from the base Pixel 10 to the premium Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
Pixel 10 Pro Fold: Starting at €1,899 (~₹1.72 lakh) for the 256GB version, going up to €2,289 (~₹2.07 lakh) for the 1TB variant. The 1TB storage option is new this year, offering more capacity for users needing higher data storage.
Pixel 10 Pro XL: Sees a minor change in storage options, with the 128GB base model discontinued. Now it starts at:
256GB – €1,299 (~₹1.17 lakh)
512GB – €1,429 (~₹1.29 lakh)
1TB – €1,689 (~₹1.53 lakh)
While the price points remain the same as the Pixel 9 Pro XL, the elimination of the cheapest 128GB option means the entry-level pricing has technically increased.
Standard Pixel 10:
128GB – €899 (~₹81,500)
256GB – €999 (~₹90,600)
Pixel 10 Pro: Positioned as the balanced option with a variety of storage choices:
128GB – €1,099 (~₹99,500)
256GB – €1,199 (~₹1.08 lakh)
512GB – €1,329 (~₹1.20 lakh)
1TB – €1,589 (~₹1.44 lakh)
The only major shakeup in this year’s release is related to storage tiers, particularly with the XL and Fold variants. Pricing consistency across models will be appreciated by those who have memorized last year’s costs, but any rumors of a lower-priced Fold variant have now been debunked.
While the pricing is steady in Europe, it's still uncertain whether markets like the US or India will follow the same structure. Historically, India’s pricing has often mirrored Europe, so similar price points are expected.
Interestingly, although the Pixel phones maintain their pricing, the Pixel Buds 2a—Google’s next-gen earbuds—will likely launch at a higher price. Expected to be priced at €149 (~₹13,500), these are roughly ₹3,700 more expensive than the previous Pixel Buds A-Series, which sold for €109 (~₹9,800). This price bump may not sit well with budget-conscious consumers, especially audiophiles looking for affordable options.
The Google Pixel 10 lineup is anticipated to launch in August, consistent with Google’s past launch schedules for its flagship devices. No specific date has been revealed yet, but preparations and leaks indicate the unveiling is imminent.
To wrap up, the Pixel 10 lineup appears to offer consistency in pricing, with some adjustments in storage configurations. While this may be good news for fans expecting no surprises, the lack of any price drop or significant upgrades could be a downside for some. Meanwhile, the Pixel Buds 2a’s price hike stands out as one of the few unexpected changes. As always, Indian users should keep an eye out for regional pricing closer to launch.
